By using SignOn Ready you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
A planning aid, not official advice
- SignOn Ready helps you keep your documents in order, plan your career and revise. It is not legal, tax, medical or regulatory advice and is not an official record.
- The flag State, the port State, your company's Safety Management System and the official text of each regulation always take precedence. Check the official source before you rely on anything in the app.
- Examples: the rest-hours check, the NRI days estimate, the document checklist, the PSC checklist and the exam questions are aids. They may be incomplete or out of date, and they do not replace an inspector's or an accountant's judgement. Confirm tax questions with a qualified accountant.
- SignOn Ready is not affiliated with the IMO, ILO, DG Shipping (DGMA), MARINA, any port State control regime, any flag State or any government or exam body.
Accuracy and updates
We check the rules against official sources every month and show when each item was last checked, but regulations change and mistakes happen. Use "Report outdated" in the app if you see something wrong. The rules, questions and data are provided as they are, without a promise that they are complete or current.
Your documents and backups
You are responsible for the documents you add, for keeping them valid, and for keeping a backup. If you lose your phone or forget your backup passphrase, we cannot recover your data.
Subscriptions (Pro)
Some features need SignOn Ready Pro. When it is offered, you buy it through Google Play, which also handles renewal, cancellation and refunds under Google Play's rules. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Free features stay free.
Fair use
Please do not overload the service or copy the app's library or question banks in bulk.
Our content
The summaries, cards, questions and design are ours. Official texts (IMO, ILO, EU and others) belong to their publishers; the app summarises them in its own words and links to the source.
Limits of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage that results from using or relying on the app, including from a missing, out-of-date or wrong item, a lost phone or backup, or a decision taken on board or ashore. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have by law that cannot be limited.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and the app; the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
